I'm a singer/songwriter and recording artist. Since 2012, I've released five albums to date, and have had the privilege of performing around the UK, something that I still love to do.
Now based in the North East of England, I originally hail from Cambridgeshire, growing up about 50 miles north of London. The intervening years have led me and my family, eventually, here to County Durham, and it's a place in which I have come to feel very much at home.
Coming from the Dylan tradition of songwriting (though I claim no comparison whatsoever!), I try to write songs that reflect something of the times and circumstances in which I find myself; the lives and experiences of people with whom I share the planet. I find it's a way of (hopefully) better understanding others, and processing something of what we're passing through together.
Whether writing, recording, or performing, my goal in all I do is to pursue it with authenticity; with passion, heart, and a dash of humour. Like many of us, I'm simply attempting to make some sense of it all, both for myself and for any who care to listen.
Playing live remains my main passion, and I am available to perform across the UK, and beyond.
